How is it that something so simple can just make you soooo happy? An avocado + some sunshine!? Holy gratitude! I mean is there really anything else to say? The black salt adds a fun crunch and the chive oil packs in extra flavor but is still so simple. I make chive oil in batches and finish any many dishes with this beautifully green oil. #MakeItBeautiful
1 Haas avocado, halved
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
Black Sea Salt to taste
1 T capers
For the Chive Oil
1 Bunch of fresh chives
1 C Grapeseed Oil
Add chives and oil to a food processor. Blend until smooth.
Over a cup run oil through a fine mesh seive and store in an airtight container for future use.
Halve the avocado, drizzle with oil. Squeeze lemon over the top and finish with black salt.
